Holiday Sympathy

The holidays can feel strange, lonely, and empty after losing a loved one. My first Christmas without my dad was especially hard, and it helped so much to know people were present for me whether I was in the spirit of the season or not. I can't overstate the power of acknowledging the feelings of the person you love who's grieving this holiday season - it will mean so, so much.
